Turkey Cheese Burgers
These burgers are a favorite for my family and my clients. Often turkey burgers are dry and bland but the zucchini, herbs, spices and cheese change that image!
They can be served traditionally on a bun or wrap in lettuce or serve over greens with grilled vegetables. You can make them as sliders or meatballs as a fun & tasty appetizer, as well.
Using dark meat turkey will add more moisture and I also recommend squeezing most of the water out of the zucchini by placing it in a clean kitchen towel and wringing it out before adding to the burger mix.
Change the cheese or omit entirely for a dairy free version and they’re still delicious!
